I am a single mom and already 39 i want to finish schooling so as to get a certificate or diploma but i dont have money to support for my education.Is there any foundation who give free scholarship grant to women like me?

Illegal Mexican come to the US and want free education, free medical, pay no property taxes and send all their Ben Franklins back to ole Mececo. Why cannot we have an illegal Alien tax collected by our cities and lift some of the burden off legal citizens. This idea was actually offered by Dinah on another question that I asked. She suggests purchasing a large peice of land, barracading it off so that no one can escape, building housing on it and sending every prisoner in the country there. (Separating the sexes) There would be no laws or law enforcement. They would be free to do whatever to whoever.

I think it would be hell on earth and we’d have people thinking twice before they commit crimes unlike nowadays, when they get taken care of, they get better medical benefits than most of us get and free education and recreational activities in prison. I am currently 13 years old and want to have a career in commercial airline transportation. I would like to know what I should do to prepare for the career like Highschool classes I should take. I know you don’t have to go to college just flight school , but I would like to know of a good college course to take because employers look for the better qualified person. If you had a chance to change something about the world, what would it be and why?

Me, I would like to see everybody receive a good education. I don’t it’s right that people have to suffer their wholes lives when education can open new doors for them. If everybody had a chance to receive a free education of a good caliber, the world would be a much better place.

The proponents of globalization and so called “free” trade love to trade with China causes it increases profits..we all know this. Now we find out that China is committing to building a fleet of aircraft carriers as they are richer now from the business our government and free traders have given to them. But there is another aspect to this that is not as readily apparent. Now that Communist China will have more weapons, guess who will be clamoring for more weapons to keep a step ahead of them. Bingo ! you got it, the very same people who were proponents of trading with the chinese regime and making them rich. Say hello to a new arms race, and more profits for free traders and the military industrial complex. And why do the very same people clamor to give weapons and cash to people who just months ago were killing our soldiers in Iraq? Bingo !!

If so, what kind of steps? Free education? Higher taxes for religious organizations? How about rules establishing religious organizations as strictly non-profit? I was listening to some older (well dressed) ladies during my lunch break and they were discussing how the poor should not be allowed to have children since the majority of them can not afford to provide for them. They were saying that the poor are basically a burden and they were tired of being taxed in order to provide the poor with a free education in public school and a free college education. They said the poor (in general) do badly in school because they do not appreciate what they have gotten for free and not earned. That’s why public schools are so shameful. They said the poor were a bad investment since the cost and effort it takes to educate the mass is far higher than the return, of a few exceptional students. The two older ladies said that they should not have to support state and community colleges since they thought the people who are educated there are no better than ‘trained monkeys’. What are your thoughts?

Marx predicted during his time that by now capitalism would have been abolished, along with private property and inheritance; in place of a classless and stateless system with free education for all. We have come to the point in this nation where we believe distribution of wealth is acceptable. We do not have a caste system. Everyone in this country is entitled to a free education and many to a free higher education. We all have the opportunity to succeed. We all choose our paths, therefore we are all RESPONSIBLE for our own successes and failures. You are NOT entitled to someone else’s hard work!!!! My education over a lifetime has cost close to a million dollars (and counting), from preschool to graduate school. Most westernzed countries have exact same opportunities as USA, often better, with state healthcare and free education.

When you compare the public sentiment on public funding of other issues, socialized medicine for everyone, free education, additional increases in welfare expenditures, there is not much left in the public pocket book for community corrections. Interestingly enough, crime and punishment does not seem to be a major concern of our presidential candidates.

As a mom who can’t afford college, I sure don’t want to send him into the service just for the free education. Yet, I sure don’t want him to have loans for the rest of his life.
