I need Advice regarding my personal morality, and future education?
My grandma had a heart attack…
and now my Uncle is proposing that I go to C.O.D(local community college) and live with my grandma
so i can take care of her for two years.
Shes not only a widow, but her boyfriend recently died as well. in other words, shes lonely.
(she lives in close by in a nice little country club)
If i turn down this offer, Im selfish.
Ive already gotten myself into college; and I thought I had avoided prolonging my stay here entirely.
Ive earned good grades.
If i take this offer;
Im potentially changing the course of my life.
but it means a nice,free living environment,and a car.
If heaven for bid, something should happen to her in the course of the 2 years…where does that put me?
Would living with a 18 year old benefit her condition at all?
Am i even allowed to live in a retirement center????!..
lend me your thoughts.

Is there anyone that will give you unbiased career advice?
I am a college graduate that is planning on furthering my education even more. I am not sure if I should go the MBA route, or specialize in a certain field such as marketing or PR. I know it depends on what I really want to do, but I am totally open to whatever will give me the best opportunities in the future. Anytime you talk to an adviser who is affiliated with a certain college or program, I feel like they’re just trying to sell their program instead of guiding me towards what is best for me.

My wife is at her wit’s end with her teaching job. What other jobs can she do with a degree in education?
She’s been teaching since 1999, but the last two years have been practically unbearable for her, as her students have been real hellraisers. This year she’s teaching Kindergarten, and each day is a challenge. She wants to find a related job, but is having difficulties. Any advice?

Does anyone have any advice on how to start a prayer circle?
People keep on blathering on and on about Palin instead of worrying about how a raise in taxes is going to hurt the people like me who are already paying as much as we can afford, and about why education is failing in Illinois, Obama’s own town, and the fact that Illinois is the 49th state in Education, and I just wondered if we can pray that we vote McCain so we don’t get a more corrupt senator into the highest office? What say you?

International Education with current economy crisis, still worth it?
I have my BFA in Fine Arts and am looking at several art universities abroad for my Postgrad. After months of research and analyzing what’s right for me, this is the MFA program and experience I want but, with the current economic crisis, am I really shooting myself in the foot? Is this a totally ridiculous thing to consider, going international? Or getting a Masters period? I’d just like some advice from those who are particularly more in tune with the economic crisis right now and what might happen down the road. Thanks!

Students who refuse to do any work. (Need advice from teachers and maybe some students too)?
I am currently working as a class within a class teacher for special education in a middle school and I have noticed that many of the students COULD do their work and do very well but they just refuse to do anything. I see some of the same students all day long but in differnt classes and all day long all they do is put their heads down and sleep and refuse to do anything. These kids are not mentally retard, they have learning disabilities and many have behavior problems but if I could just get them to do their work, I really feel like they could be sucessful. Any advice?
I don’t think it’s that they are not being challenged enough. These are kids with learning disabilties and they are really low. The work is on their level. They just won’t do it. We’ve tried rewarding kids for doing their work and punishing kids for not doing their work, sending kids to the office, calling home, writing them up, just ignoring them when they sleep, etc.
I don’t know what else to do. A lot of the other teachers allow it beause they don’t want to fuss with it or bother the other students but I just can’t let these kids fail. And they are failing because they simply won’t work.

How to solve difficult problems? Any Advice or reference?
I am really frustrated. I study biotechnology, I’m really interested in it. But there is a lot of chemistry and physics. I love the subjects, BUT the problem is:
I only can solve direct problems, or difficult problems that I’ve seen the solution to before. I think this is because my school education wasn’t based on stimulating my mind, but now I really want to be good at what I do and to reach to the level of the other students when it comes to difficult scientific problem solving.
So any advise or reference will be highly appreciated.
Thanks.

I want to start writing any tips or advice?
Ya I want to start writing. I’ve been writing since I was 7 I wrote a journal of short stories mainly of kid stuff like space and stuff, but my dad found the book and threw it away saying I can’t write. I later when I was 9 started writing songs about ambition and stuff and hid them all around my room so he couldn’t find them. He abandoned me when I was 13 so it was safer to write I wrote a chapter book, and a bunch of poems. 5 which have been published, and a bunch that are in a book around 20 but I probably won’t publish them because I was in a depression at the time I wrote them. Any tips though? If i do finally write another novel or chapter book and it gets published about how much will it cost to send in to publish? I have about 3 different novels in my head right now that I want to start, but I’m just to busy to start writing again, it’s my senior year in high school. If I want to be an author what kind of education should I move onto for college?

Any advice for an INTJ still in secondary education?
Mm, that would be me…I tested as an INTJ on multiple Myers-Briggs personality tests online…I also looked into the characteristics, and I match mostly all of them. Basically, how can I effectively deal with people and still maintain sanity?
It’s just a personality type? I’m not going to a psychologist to test my personality type…just curious as to what other INTJs use as coping skills…lately I’ve been letting my mind wander into biomagnetic theories or some basic quantum theory…occassionally I come up with some neat anagrams. lol.

I have created a Communication Passport for my Special Needs Kids. Need Advice?
I have two kids with Global Developmental Delay. My eldest attends a Special Needs school and loves it. My youngest is attending mainstream nursery and loving it too. They need lots of one-to-one care and get it through education, physio and speech therapy.
I created a Communitcation Passport for them both and had great fun doing it. If anyone needs ideas or help, just let me know. I know its a bit daunting to start the whole process, but they are brilliant things to have. My son was in Hospital last week and it came in handy for the nurses to read and get to know him when I wasn’t there.
Help needed? I’m here to give advice.

My education and work experience has increased, why hasn’t my salary?
I want a job that pays more. Who doesn’t right? My education and work experience have increased by my salary has not. Why is this?
I have BA in English/Education and MA in English/Writing. I have 4 years of work experience in educational administration ranging from administrative assistant to program coordinator at various institutions. I took a year and a half off to go back to school. Now with a Master’s degree, I am still making the same salary I made when I had a BA degree. Is it the education industry? Can I apply my knowledge and skills in a different industry that would put me in a higher salary bracket? Also, I do not want to teach. I would appreciate any advice you can give. Thank you.

Free Math Homework Help
When having problems in math, what may be needed is a review of previous math.
Many online websites offer free help for homework problems in math.
Help for homework problems can be found on many web sites.
Before more advanced subjects in math can be taken, the rules and formulas in basic math must be understood.
Learning multiplication usually involves learning the multiplication table, especially for the numbers that multiply to one hundred.
It is very important to know fractions since they have wide application in the world and not just in learning math.
Fractions and decimals can represent the same number although the notation is different.
When doing algebra, kids often have trouble with factoring and expanding polynomials.
Even before this, however, the mathematical idea of variables has to be understood.
Meanwhile, in trigonometry, they might have trouble with the trigonometry functions such as sine, cosine, tangent, secant, cosecant, and cotangent.
The many formulas and terms used in algebra and trigonometry are important for taking higher math courses such as precalculus and calculus in addition to probability and statistics.
Along with the definition of a derivative, special rules have to be learned that rely on understanding rules from previous math.
Integrals are more complicated than derivatives because they sometimes require setting up a problem to fit a particular rule.
Unlike derivatives, there might not be a solution unless numerical methods are used.

What can I do about my education?
I go to a ‘low-grade’ school——meaning they are barely able to teach the core curriculum subjects. The school I went to before was really challenging, an they wanted to let me skip 2 grades. My problem is, is that I feel as if I am losing my intelligence by being at this low-class school. I fear that I’ll be unprepared for college, and it scares me. I know if I was challenged I could learn faster.
I have a teacher here who says ” Don’ let school interfere with your education.” This is good advice, except that if I go to the library, I can’t learn. Nothing there has been updated since the 70-80’s. (No I am not kidding) I can’t transfer schools, so I am stuck..
Can someone offer me some advice?
Another added problem is the fact, if the Oklahoma Board of Education were to investigate the duties of our counseler and some of the teachers——more than likely they’d be fired on the spot. Our counselor is lazy and hasn’t been filing our ‘records’ correctly. (Student and Teachers records. The ones were if a teacher gets written up, they disappear.) Yes, I have actually walked into her office while she’s done this. (She hastily tried to cover it up.)

Any advice for how can I get a clinic job as a nurse right out of college?
I already have a degree in education and have great experiences in teaching so I think that would help me to teach my patients as well. Do any of you (nurses in particular) have advise for me as how I can get into a clinic or public nurse setting without having to work in a hospital first? Is it possible? How can I spruce up my resume to get an employer’s attention.
Thanks!

What can I do if my primary education appeal has been refused?
I have children at 2 different schools, until 2 weeks ago they were both at the same school. Then a place became available at the school I want them both to be at for just one of the children, everyone I spoke to (including the head at the school we are moving from) thought we would get a place for the other child, on the basis that having 2 primary school children at different schools just isn’t feasible long term. I have just discovered our appeal was refused on the grounds that the class is full. Can anyone offer me any advice on what to do next? Please?

Where is the best place to turn to find good financial advice regarding my family’s retirement?
I am 43 and my daughter is 4. I am starting late on saving for retirement and would like to set aside money for my daughter’s education. I am considering hiring a CFA to set up some accounts to accomplish both these goals. Aside from liking the CFA’s approach, I have little knowledge of his background and track record. Is there a good way to approach the situation and sift through the over abundance of funds and options available? I hope to retire in about 20 years and send my daughter to four years of college. Is there any hope of accomplishing these goals, with little set aside so far?
